Why we do what we do.
The spark of life that gave origin to Plus and Fabulous, came from want and unfulfillment.
Many a big designer and fashion giant continue to waste the opportunity to provide quality fashion for the Plus-sized and Fabulous.
How can such crimes against humanity be overlooked? We're not sure because we aren't philosophers, but what we do know is that making excellent, comfortable clothing that fits, is the only solution.
Plus and Fabulous is by the Plus-sized, for the Fabulous,
The F.A.Q.
Q: What is Plus and Fabulous?
A: This lovely little online store is the United States based venture for enacting the idea of providing quality clothing to plus-sized individuals, multiplexes, or hive-minds, especially to those who have been burned by the inaccurate information found on other "vogue" websites. Going to many online stores and buying clothing can often end with getting a fashion piece that just isn't the right fit. We want to mend this to the best of our ability.
Q: What makes you stand out from the other bigger businesses?
A: Unlike corner cutters and labor exporters, everything you see here on this website was produced by Americans, was created in America, and I guess for people outside of it too. We can manage to keep our prices competitive because our operation is almost a one step business, where instead of having a variety of retailers, middlemen, and factories, we produce and ship from the same place in Washington.
Q: Do you offer any specialty services?
A: In addition to getting what you payed for, we offer free adjustments to existing pieces of clothing at the customers' leisure. This allows for greater flexibility and diversity of people for which we provide fashion. However, we would like to note a caveat, in that adjusting a piece of clothing permanently changes it from it's original form and renders it null in future sales, resulting in it being non-refundable. To make planning such things easier, we add spec details to each our clothing options to maximize the accuracy of adjustment requests.
Q: What is an adjustment, and how do I get one done for my order(s)?
A: An adjustment in our terms is a modification of an item we are selling. For example, if you don't like the length of the sleeves for a top you want to purchase, we can adjust it to be shorter. We offer multiple ways to adjust (Sleeve length, dress length, skirt length, and soon more. Don't be shy to throw us an email (found below) to see if we can get something done for you perhaps not listed). In order to have an adjustment made for an item you are buying, you will be prompted after adding an item to your cart. Simply go to the page of what you wish to purchase, and click add to cart. A handy little notification box will allow you to specify your adjustments.
Q: Hey! I ordered a piece with adjustments and now it doesn't fit, I want a refund!
A: Sorry, we can't take back adjusted pieces because they'd be as good as recycle bin fodder, nobody wants to get clothing made to fit somebody other than themselves. Please be precise and knowledgeable in what kind of modification you need, and we will do our very best to accommodate that. We realize this feature may not be for everyone, so if you're unsure as to whether you need to do this, the answer is likely no.
Q: Hey, now that you mentioned refunds, where can I read about your policies?
A: A brilliant question, made only by a real genius. You can read about our shipping, returns, privacy policies, and so on at the policies link on the left-hand sidebar.
Q: I'd like to contact you for any myriad of reasons, how do I do this?
A: You can contact us at this email: customerservice@plusandfabulous.com
Q: What's your long-winding history of Machiavellian feuds with other fashion families and global conglomerates?
A: We don't have such a past, let alone a force that dictates our moves from the shadows and whose only aim is to continue the life of the company for a pretty low bottomline. We are an American small business where everybody working in it knows each other, and our goal is to make a bunch of happy customers, that is the bottom line. We don't even have the room to fit world domination, we'd need another warehouse for that.
